Street homelessness down in the Bronx

According to this year's Homeless Outreach Population Estimate (HOPE) Count, the Bronx leads the city in reducing street homelessness.  There was a 72% decline in the street homeless population between 2005 and 2009.  This compares to a 47% decline for the city over the same period.  As the largest service provider of street homeless services in the Bronx, CAB can take a great amount of credit for the sharp drop.
