Foster Care Prevention Programs
CAB’s Family Enrichment Program (FEP) and Bridge Builders program work
with families in crisis. Their goals are to ensure that children and
families are safe, keep families together, and prevent the placement or
re-placement of youngsters into the foster care system.

Home Instruction for Parents of Preschool Youngsters (HIPPY)
HIPPY is a home-based early childhood development and parent
education program. It gives parents the tools to be their children’s
first teachers and helps prepare 3-5 year olds for success in
kindergarten and beyond.

Even Start
Even Start is a comprehensive literacy skills development program
for low-income immigrant families with children up to 8 years old. Mothers learn English, take parenting workshops, do interactive
educational activities with their children, and become acclimated to
American culture.

Family Childcare Network
CAB’s Family Childcare Network trains women to start their own
licensed childcare businesses which they run from their homes. As a
result, low-income women become financially independent and parents get
a safe, reliable source of professional childcare.

Aquatics
The Community Center’s indoor swimming pool holds activities and classes for all age groups at reasonable fees.
