CAB has numerous homelessness prevention programs to keep Bronx residents in crisis from losing their apartments. We do the following services:

• Provide financial counseling and help people create action plans
• Intervene with landlords and advocate to settle rent arrears
• Help navigate Housing Court
• Help qualifying families get rent subsidies
• Help people keep their Section 8 vouchers
• Help people take measures to prevent threats of eviction from reoccurring

Screenings to determine eligibility take place at the CAB Community Center Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
